I can totally relate to you, i´ve had a couple of similar experiences while dealing with timeshare, condos and such.
Most of those guys want to reel you in with gifts and talking to you using big words like you´re not going to understand what they´re talking about.
On the other hand it didn´t happen with the people from Torrenza so i decided to invest with them just because it seemed like a good deal, but i did experience something like you with other companies.

I purchased a fractional ownership because of the great value. I am so excited as I love Mexico. They were working 24/7 which impressed me.

ReplyDeletei did my research... while there were issues in the past... the entire project is under new management who have been brought in specifically to reestblish the reputation of the project... construction is now under way and on shedule. unfortunately some people purchase for the wrong reasons.. hoping for a huge rental or resale return... that is NOT the reason for purchasing a time share( i own 5) I am very happy with my purchase here and was treated proffessionaly and very low key and without pressure. the company now is insured with llyods in london and you are 100% protected against bankruptcy.. i.m very comfortable with my purchase
ReplyDeleteIf you look at the contract for the insurance, it is not the Lloyd's of London that is a reputable company, but a company using a similar name based outside of England. I think there's a great possibility that it has no real association with the real Lloyd's of London. Check it out for yourself. We were also told there was new management to clean up the previous messes. Our presentation was also very low pressure with assurances that they were trying to help us and we were happy until we discovered they opened credit cards in our name without our knowledge or authorization and posted charges to them and that none of their promises were fulfilled. Is there any proof that their construction is on schedule? Or what schedule is it? The Towers are supposed to be completed by Dec.2010, but there was still nothing above ground in early 2010. I suggest you may want to check them out further. Have you successfully made reservation?
