Rescind

Please take that contract back and rescind!!!!!!

TRUST ME. I am fighting with these guys as we speak. Everything they promised me are total lies. I have filed a Profeca complaint, and are considering my legal options with attorneys in Mexico to take them to court.

Do not believe the guarentees they give you from Sierra. You will find out after the 5 day rescind period is over and be very sorry.

Feel free to PM me for info. I am making it my life mission for now to warn as many potential customers as I can, and hopefully help some people out before it's too late.

  1. I think I also need some help - is there a possibility of a class action suit?

I was taken in in late November 2009 and as yet have to get any legal advice here in Canada as there are not many/any lawyers who are familiar with this Mexican fraud. I had a very unusual experience with the profeco lawyer who was recommended by the Canadian Consolate. I sent him a long e-mail outlining the experience with Torrenza and then followed up with a phone call. I spoke with him, briefly, and he suggested that we communicate by e-mail. I tried, but didn't hear from him, so I called again. He was not there, so I left a message and asked when he was going to be in, called back at the suggested time, and they picked up the phone and hung up. I thought there must have been a mistake, so I called backk and the same thing happened!

I have been in regular contact with my credit card company, and have sent them a written notification that i will not be responsible for any further charges from Torrenza, and have cancelled that card. So far, so good, and they have sent me paperwork to try to challenge the initial charge.

What I am unclear about is the legal implications of this contract - it is a fraud, after all, but that may not make any difference!

Any suggestions? You posted your comments in September - I sure wish I had the foresight to have read this - I had NO idea!!

  2. Hi friends,
My name is Raul Gonzalez and I too was a victim of timeshare fraud. In 2008 I bought a timeshare in Hacienda del Mar in Puerto Rico. When I decided to go on vacation the next year I noticed a lot of discrepancies between what I was promised and reality. When I realized this, I turned to ad advocacy group that helped me cancel my contract and recuperate the money I invested. I was so satisfied with this service that now I work for this consumer rights group that help the individual timeshare owner who feels that they have been misrepresented, lied too or coerced in the buying of the property. The name of this group is Timeshare Advocacy International LLC and we help timeshare owners get out of these fraudulent contracts and in most cases recover part of the money, if not all that was invested. I invite you to visit our web page www.timeshareaide.com and read about this group and all the testimonials of people like me. We need to realize that there is help and we no longer have to be victims.
